Challenges

In the initial development phase of the Sinonim web application, the main goal was to create a user-friendly custom platform for managing projects and displaying their progress. In addition, it was necessary to implement a system for managing users with different levels of authority. As the application developed over time, it also expanded as a database, which required setting a global filter so users would be able to view data for a selected year. By switching to a new currency, it was also necessary to adapt the application to the euro. In the last phase, it was necessary to add automation options for greater efficiency.

Solution

For easier project management and records, it is possible to display each project in 3 status tables depending on the project status: Projects in progress, Completed projects and Invoiced projects. Four types of users with different authorities have been created to ensure data protection. With the further development of this web application, data filtering was enabled, which significantly accelerated the entire work process. It is also possible to generate reports in different formats, which facilitates the analysis and planning of projects. With the global filter, employees now in 2023 no longer have to view thousands of data from the previous year.
