Challenges

The web application was created to solve the lack of functionality for generating rental offers, purchase orders and other documents. Over time, it was necessary to add the option of printing the same dynamic data in English to the existing functionality of printing documents in PDF format. Several categories had to be added to the menu to facilitate record keeping. Although the application already had the option of displaying prices in kunas and euros, it was necessary to refine several functionalities in order to set the euro as the default selection.

Solution

The solution was found in a user friendly custom web application with simple navigation. This enabled simplified handling of data such as offers, contracts and purchase orders, which made the entire work process much easier. Considering the extensive area of the client’s work, all information is available not only in Croatian, but also in English. Through this project, the development team was able to extend the functionality of the web application and provide a better experience for clients. All these additional functionalities and adjustments of the application resulted in faster and more efficient work of the client and enabled easier management of data and business processes.

The company Cros Rent was founded in 2014 with its headquarters in Osijek, and its activities cover the entire territory of the Republic of Croatia. The activity of the company Cros Rent, a trade for the rental of construction machines, forklifts and other services, consists of the rental, service and sale of a wide program of new and used machines.
